Summer Solstice/ Litha

Date: Friday, 21.06. (this year on 20.6 – we celebrate one day later)

At the summer solstice we celebrate the longest day and the shortest night of the year. On this day the sun's course reverses and the second half of the year begins. All of nature reaches its peak and joy and abundance dominate in this beautiful summer time.

When celebrating the annual cycle festivals, it is our heartfelt desire to create a space of lightness for young and old and to reconnect together with the cycles of the year.

Together we celebrate and experience the quality of each year in nature and within ourselves with all our senses.

In a guided part, we sing together, listen to a story, perform rituals and create something creative to suit the festival.

To eat there are always seasonal delicacies, such as a 9 herb soup for the Ostara festival, rose jelly for the Yule festival or pumpkin soup for Samhain.

Everyone is invited to bring their own dishes to make our celebration sustainable.

By celebrating the annual festivals, we experience the cycle of nature more consciously and feel the connection to Mother Earth, who gives us all life.

For each event there is a separate invitation with the schedule and content.
